I know all of you didnt listen to me about programming the NYC.Gov
or NJ.Gov ....for EMERGENCY NOTIFICATIONS

because I said its good to have ----> I recieved 6 yesterday
although I could have told them my power was out long before they
told me!

But they did say the Staten Island Ferry was cancelled, parts of the FDR
and parts of the Belt Parkway was closed
(not that I was going out shopping last night)

but again ....you really all should be notified to your cells just in case
a major emergency should arise

My poor next door neighbor's basement is filled with raw sewage since
yesterday ....and D.E.P. still isnt here to pump out their basement....that
really does stink!

Hope you all like this ....just a little something until Geri and Jim
finally get their asses back on here!



THE DIFFERENCE IF YOU MARRY A New York GIRL

The first man married a woman from OHIO.
He told her that she was to do the dishes and the house cleaning.

It took a couple of days, but on the third day, he came home to see
a clean house and dishes washed and put away..

The second man married a woman from MICHIGAN. He gave his wife
orders that she was to do all the cleaning, dishes and the cooking..

The first day he didn't see any results, but the next day he saw it was better.
By the third day, he saw his house was clean, the dishes were done and
there was a huge dinner on the table.

The third man married a girl from NY. He ordered her to keep the
house cleaned, dishes washed, lawn mowed, laundry washed,
and hot meals on the table for every meal.

He said the first day he didn't see anything, the second day he didn't
see anything but by the third day, some of the swelling had gone
down and he could see a little out of his left eye, and his arm was
healed enough that he could fix himself a sandwich and load the
dishwasher.

He still has some difficulty when he pees

Thanks Suzie. Debbie's Aunt Emma was married to a fellow named Zmijewski. Emma is one of the Brown girls whose family we knew well. We always marveled at the fact that one of the "Brown" girls married someone with a long name like Zmijewski. Debbie's Aunt Lucille married Walter Zwizewick (sp) so two Brown girls REALLY had name changes!!! :roll:
