Hi Guys, I'm just glad everyone is safe, wow, that was one heck of a storm. yeah, losing power is NOT fun, it happens to us quite a bit down here!!! I couldn't believe the photos, there were some really big trees that came down, glad nobody got hurt. When we had the tornado from 1988, it leveled K-mart and there were pieces of metal in my backyard, it's scary to see what these storms can do.
Jeanette, how was the party, hope you had a good time, sorry you and your son had to drive back in that awful weather.
Suzie, Hope Vinny had a great birthday celebration!!!
Anna, snow???? How weird but I guess some states even get snow in mid-March. I meant to tape the Apprentice last night, how was it?

Hi-hope everything has calmed down...Maryann-we sometimes get snow in April! It is weird and of course I put some of my winter clothes away and washed my summer stuff. Decluttered my closets & garage-it was a good weekend to do it-rainy & damp. Terry-you mentioned steaks? I'll take the first plane out!! Helen-now that you have help-it's your turn to take care of yourself..Jeannette...glad you made it home safe..Happy belated Birthday to Vinny...Hi to Judy, Karen, Patsy & Debbie...have a nice day everyone!!

EMMA IS 88 YRS OLD LUCILLE ???? EMMA IS IN NJ WITH LAURA AND JOHANNA HER DAUGHTERS. It was Laura's husband who Passed away at the age of 57. Yes The brown girls. the brown family.
When we got the call we thought Emma had passed. thinking she is 88, never thought John at 57 yrs old.
I am writing before reading everything. Been off the computer for almost 2 days so have alot to catch up on.
Debbie and Laura are cousins. Marion (bunny) her Mom was Mi Mi and she worked in Aarons for years on 5th avenue. (can not remember her real name MIMI) bunny's Mom. I think Emma and Mimi were sisters.
Hi, Yes, Bunny's Mother & Emma were sisters. There was Emma, Lucille, Marion and I think one more. There was also a brother named Herbie who was killed in WW2. I'm pretty sure Bunny's Mother's was named Marion. :? Lucille's husband (Walter) died very young. He was a NYC Fireman. Walter & Emma's husband both played on our Church basketball team. -
Hello All, I can empathise with all who went through the storm. Two years ago we lost power for 12 hours. Some people in this area lost power for a week. One time Carol & I spent an afternoon in our clothes closet because of Tornado warnings! In Florida the word is "Find an area without windows and only interior doors and hunker down". A few years ago we rode through Punta Gorda a few weeks after a hurricane hit there. Just big empty spaces where stores and homes stood just a few weeks before. It was very sad and can happen anywhere. That was the year the people visiting thought all Floridians had Blue Roofs. It was tarps covering open holes in the roofs. It took months for all the repairs to take place.Now Punta Gorda is booming! While weather can disrupt and screw up anyone or any place you can not live in fear all the time. Enjoy life but keep the radio on for warnings! :-k

Hi Guys, it's cold again here and windy, about 50. I picked some daffodils from my garden this morning and they are sitting on my desk, at least they will brighten my day!!!!!!!! Not feeling all that well today, I think it's the time change.
