cablevision slow?

Is anyone else experiencing slow internet tonight? I'm getting 788kbps download speeds....

Yes and I have tried calling since 7 pm and have not been able to get through at all.

i'm getting 3.22 down / 1.95 up. And surprisingly stable.... Must be getting some of your juice tonight.

Is there any alternative to cablevision for high speed internet? We have directv for tv and love it - and I would love to be clear of cablevision once and for all. I HATE them. and my internet is spotty and seems to be too expensive.

any ideas?

They recently called me asking if I wanted Boost... anyone have it? Is it worth it?

You guys w/probs should look into having them rearrange ur connection. Odds are ur being tapped off of a connection for too many accounts, and you're getting a weak signal. They gave me a direct connection after some threats, and I have had solid fast service for about 2 months now.

We use Verizon high-speed internet. I'd love to upgrade to Fios, but currently not available in the immediate area. Or at least it wasn't the last time I checked about 3 months ago...
