Great Place for Baby Gift?

We need to buy a baby shower gift tomorrow....can anyone recommend a place that has a really nice selection of baby gifts?

    In the Lower East Side there's Catfish Greetings in Mulberry st between Prince and Spring. It's a small shop but full of great gifts for newborns and babies up to 1 year old. Very cute.

    There are some places in 7th avenue and 5th avenue, but I don't know them well. Try to walk by 7th avenue between 3rd st and 7th st there's one there, and in 5th avenue there's some between 1st st and Dean... Sorry :(

    I like SproutKids on Union Street (near 7th Ave). I've gotten some very cute new baby gifts there.

    Goldy and Mac on seventh ave in the South Slope is not a kids store, but they have a very small selection of unusual and very cute baby clothes and accessories.

    sprout kids closed i think. i always found useful and eclectic selection at boing boing. they're on union st. and one is also in the south slope near 14th st.

    Sprout kids is definitely still open - I picked something up yesterday.

    Gotta love these places that charge $24 for an "adorable" bib or $18 or a t-shirt for a 6-month old.

    It makes me cringe.
