INVITATION: Unemployment key lime pie party THURSDAY!!!
Nothing says "I'm unemployed and/or working part-time from home involuntarily" like eating key lime pie in the afternoon, which is why I am extending this invitation to all unemployed and underemployed work-from-homers to come to my garden this Thursday afternoon and eat key lime pie and whatever other baked goods I decide to make.
Date: Thursday April 15
Time: 3 PM
Attire: Work-from-home casual
RVSP - Post here, and confirm with PM please!
I need to know how many people to expect so I can get ingredients, so RSVP at your earliest convenience!
PS, Booklaw is also invited even though he's a fancy lawyer.
PPS, my garden is small, to i may not be able to take all comers, but i won't limit the number quite yet...

Count me in, although how many pies are you going to make? I'm partial to key lime and I'll come ready to fight over it.
It's better than Steve's right? -
Ooooh.....oooooh........I have plans on Thursday, but they are plans in my backyard to finish building my fancy new grill (which needs to be slathered in bacon grease as it has cast-iron plates).
I'm not sure what time I am doing that. Once I find out, I might have to dust off my cane so I can beat down DD for a piece of Pah. -
Oh Flexichick, you're going to regret saying that. I have no shame. I will knock you down for pie!

^ my grill actually can't wait because I have enlisted help. It's a two person job, and I take the help whenever I can get a volunteer.........but if it falls through, I will PM you for sure.

Can I come even though I'm gainfully employed? I can bring something.
