  • Funny a Realtor who's done so much business in Maplewood would now dis it so badly. Wonder how all the people she sold houses to in Maplewood would feel?

As for the property she's pushing, it does have lower taxes, for now anyway. It's just been renovated and says this in the listing: "final approvals are in from building dept waiting on new assessment". Guess what? That means the taxes will be going up.

No doubt Millburn is an awesome town with a great school system. And like those "other" towns on the train line, it's a wonderful place to live. I should know, it's where I live.
  • My apologies to Maggee Miggins. It turns out that the above post was written by an over zealous home owner, NOT the Realtor that represents the property being showcased. Maggee is a wonderful Realtor and I was quite shocked to think she would dis Maplewood. I know that she believes, like I do, that Maplewood is a FANTASTIC place to live.
  • When I said lower taxes I did not mean
this home on 425 Wyoming specifically. I meant Millburn in general.

My husband and I lived in C. Gardens then moved to Maplewood when we got married. We lived there for six wonderful years,
since our two boys were born. It is a great town but
all I meant was, if you are looking in Maplewood/ South Orange area,
consider Millburn because it is just as convenient to the city / Newark airport but has overall lower taxes and better rated school system from
    elementary to high school.
Yes it is true tax for 425 Wyoming will increase but it will still be
lower than Maplewood for houses in the lower 800k.

It seems, since dhuebner is an agent in the area, it would be a 'win-win' situation for him to know this information I posted so that he might sell the home and make commission. I guess he doesn't do business w/
over zealous home owners. You know, like home owners who want to sell their homes!??

If anyone has questions about the town, e-mail directly.
I won't be posting to justify my ad again.
