Morning All
Terry - here I am. I won't post my weight cause I'm toooooo embarrased by it. Let's just SUPER-ECONOMY SIZED FAT. (I got to work, sat at my desk and my zipper on my pants broke - good thing I have on a long top!) And, I might add very disappointed w/myself. I lost 30 lbs. and put in all back.
Let me think about how we can do this. Yes, posting weight is one way but I really think we'd benefit from getting together. Give me a day or two to come up with something. I know the first step - like WW- is to write down everything that goes into your mouth (hmm, I better buy a 5 subject notebook). Anyone with thoughts/idea - email me - [email protected]. Let's get this thing going.
Helen - one step at a time and one day at a time. At your own pace. (When my dad died, my mom couldn't handle looking at his things - so she "cleaned" quickly. My sisters and I cleaned up rather quickly after my mom died too - must be in our genes!)
Warren - love your stories, sad, happy makes no difference.
Debbie - I went to the drs. cause I couldn't stand being dizzy, headachy, lightheaded,nauseous, etc. He said I have labrynitis - an inflamation of the middle ear caused by my severe allergies. (Shocker!) He gave me a low dose of anitvert which seems to be helping - I'm not so fuzzy - that and my nasal spray and I can almost think. Ask him about it.
Judy - ask your doctor about taking Nexium for your cough - there's a correlation between allergies and reflux (even if you don't (think you) suffer from reflux). I take it and it works.
Sigh, I don't need a pill case - I need a pill WEEKENDER BAG!

Okay you weight concious people. Now is the time for you to do something about the extra pounds. My Doctors tell me that a combination of eating less and more exercise is the only way. My Cardiologist told me that at my age your metabolism slows down and makes it much more difficult to lose. At your present ages you still have a chance but be careful. No drastic measures. Your exercise should be moderate in nature like walking, swimming, biking, light exercise machines like treadmills. I can not lose more then a pound or two at this age no matter what I can safely do with diet and exercise. I am too heavy for my height but Carol & I have enrolled in a class called "Sit & Be Fit". It is twice a week and about 1/2 the exercises are sitting and about 1/2 standing. We use light weights (1-5 lbs), band stretchers, a ball (for coordianation) and some standing ones for balance. Lack of Balance is the number 1 bone breaker for seniors. Age DOES make a difference so do it while you are ableboth physically and mentally> :roll: :roll:

Hi Guys!! I don't need a diet, I need exercise!!! I was walking everyday and some nights but with the pollen flying around, I've been very sick, I think it's a sinus infection. I was lucky I made it to work today!!! I was in asleep by 7:30 last night.
Terry, Judy, Karen, Helen, and Patsy and whoever else joins, best of luck in the WW program, it will be easier to lose if you work as a team, more incentive that way.
Debbie, I hope all goes well at the doctor's today.
Anna, So Jessica adopted 2 puppies???

Hi everyone-good idea about the W.W. Program (u can do it online too!) It will take me a while to get motivated though..I have so much going on right now..Helen-take your time with that paperwork...MaryAnn-yes Jessica got those puppies from a Rescue group-they're 4 months old. She called me today-they were good during the night-on her break at work she'll go home & walk them..i hope this works out! Saw Justin yesterday-gives me a hug & kisses everytime he sees me now! Watching him May 8th overnight-Tina & Scott going down to Chicago for a 30th birthday party...have to get back to work-Hi to Debbie, Patsy, Karen, Judy, Suzie & Terry.........have a great day!!!!!!!!
