Sushi in Bed Stuy

I saw the post about Sushi Tatsu opening in Bed Stuy, and I wondered if anyone had tried it out. How is it?

We get delivery from Yamashiro on Myrtle a lot, and it's pretty solid and well priced.

My kid is so excited for more Japanese options.

I usually order from Yamashiro also and I've had sushi from there that was positively ORGASMIC! I used to order from Sushi Tatsu's Franklin location before Yamashiro decided to start delivering to my area. (i'm on Nostrand & Madison)

Since this location is right by my house, I will give them a try. I am interested in trying their Thai selections. I normally order Thai food from Udom Thai which is barely passable.

We ordered delivery from Sushi Tatsu last week, but ordered from their Thai menu. To be honest, I'd like to hear a few reviews on the sushi before we go down that road! We ordered a few apps and dinners. The Thai chicken wings were surprisingly good with a tasty sauce that contained a nice little kick. The fresh summer roll was also fresh and quite nice. I wasn't a fan of the pad thai, I thought it was a little on the sweet side and a bit of a so-what. The mammasan curry was average. In general I wasn't wowed but I wasn't really expecting to be. I'd order again, though I'm not in a hurry and would opt for different main dishes.

Sushi Tatsu has a few other locations, including one on Franklin and one on Flatbush right off the 7th Ave. Q stop. It tends to be pretty average stuff. You're not going to spit it out, but it's also not exactly Blue Ribbon Sushi either. Good enough to satisfy a craving without leaving the neighborhood.
