Exchanging euros for dollars in Park Slope

How much are you looking at exchanging? I need Euros for an upcoming trip. I'd buy a bunch from you at the current exchange rate on that day. Better deal for both of us than dealing with the banks.

^^
This.
any place you go to exchange them will take at least 10% off the published exchange rate and maybe even charge you a fee as well. -
I'm also planning a trip, and would like to exchange my dollars for your euros, if there is any left that carnivore doesn't want.

with the way everything is going you may just want to hang onto those euros instead exchanging them for the spiraling dollar. =P

I just keep my extra euros because sooner or later I go back and then I have enough pocket money for taxis, etc. when I get there so I don't have to deal with the jacked up rates at the nearest places.

Me too. But I'd rather get more now at the real exchange rate than pay the not-as-good ATM rate plus fee when the ones I have run out. -
Thanks everyone for your responses. People on this forum and others have suggested to me that I hold onto the Euros for now. Thanks everyone for your offers and comments.

Smart move. Unless you're never planning to go to Europe again, or desperately need the leftover cash now, it is better to hold onto them. Not only will it save you a hassle next time you're in Europe, but in recent years, they have only appreciated in value against the dollar over time.
