Exchanging euros for dollars in Park Slope

any place you go to exchange them will take at least 10% off the published exchange rate and maybe even charge you a fee as well.

with the way everything is going you may just want to hang onto those euros instead exchanging them for the spiraling dollar. =P

Me too. But I'd rather get more now at the real exchange rate than pay the not-as-good ATM rate plus fee when the ones I have run out.

Smart move. Unless you're never planning to go to Europe again, or desperately need the leftover cash now, it is better to hold onto them. Not only will it save you a hassle next time you're in Europe, but in recent years, they have only appreciated in value against the dollar over time.
