Seems to have died down. Sounds like it was coming from around Ocean Pwky between Caton and the Ft Hamilton overpass.

Yes, that's exactly where I am -- I walked over the overpass, down Ocean to Caton, back across the overpass, around the stables, and I could never really figure out where it was coming from.
Can't really identify the culture of the music either -- Indian, Muslim, Jewish.
I just wish I knew. -
It was likely a celebration of Lag BaOmer, a Jewish holiday. I live above a synagogue and they had a bonfire out back and very loud music playing around midnight last night/early this morning. Sounded fun, but definitely loud! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lag_BaOmer

I [am[/i][/b] complaining about the music--I could hear it until 1 a.m. I'd love to know where it was coming from. How inconsiderate that half the borough should have been inconvenienced by it!
Howdy, Stranger!
