Produce Stands

I noticed there are a lot more produce carts this summer than before. I was hoping that you all might share where you see them.

I have seen them at Nostrand and DeKalb, Nostrand and Lafayette & Marcy and Myrtle.

Any other locations around the neighborhood?

My local one is Nostrand & Fulton. I don't buy from him because his fruit does not look all that better than my local Key Foods or Bravo stores. (and the produce there is horrible). But he seems very nice.

Richard Lipsky, a supermarket lobbyist, said where Green Carts are succeeding, it's by "cannibalizing the existing stores.

Haha. 'said the food lobbyist - spend money on my clients! ignore everyone else! ignore our awful produce!'
