I think we were still there at 10, about 8 of us. not bad a turnout, but not a great turnout either.
  • Next time we should have all Crown Heights thingys at Franklin Park.

Crow Hill Bistro wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't so crowded, understaffed, and looooooooong wait for your food.

My burger was just ok, fries were good.

Nice looking place, good prices, and very nice staff.
  • I wasn't sure if I would be able to make it, but I did end up passing by but it was very crowded. I didn't realize the party got moved to FP. Out of curiosity, who made it out?

In any event, thanks for organizing why_not. I'll keep a look out for the next one.
  • Appearances included Dayman, Bentley, Em, Xliszex (sp?), Mr. Xlizxex, Marcydarcy, Nomad, Christina, Mougar and yours truly.
  • No MHA?

I was curious to see - as I have my theories.
  • ...MHA could have been part of "look at how well I'm doing, it's so good to see you, I haven't seen you since undergrad crowd".

...I'm not sure what kept him from being there. There must have been around 100 people there, all professionals, and they seemed to be having a good time.

    >>>mods, thanks for the global and sticky, but they are no longer needed <<<<<
  • My theories differ.., BUT what time did the group leave CHB?

..we'll have to hear from him.

We had a table in the back. Most left around 8:45. Em and I stayed until they filled our food order... we left around 9.
  • Wow, wish I would of checked the iphone.

It was soooooooooooooo crowded in there!

    Next meet up!
  • x liz ell x -- x's are because lizell was taken on another message board. liz (my name) ell (my last name used to start with L and people thought when I said "Liz L. I was saying "Lizell".
    xlizellx
  • also Dayman and Mr. xlizellx are the same person.
  • So sorry i missed last night!

I hope there is another chance.

  • How was it
  • Well, it was my first Brooklynian meeting, but I had a lovely time. We had to move from our first meeting place, Crow Hill Bistro, because there was another, much larger group meeting taking place there at the same time and it was rather rush hourish inside. We relocated to Franklin Park, which worked just fine. I got some delicious takeout from Jamrock. Thanks to all for a lovely introduction to Brooklynian Live!
  • I saw all of you, and yeah, you guys looked really peeved at the snail pace at your food's arrival. Got an idea of whom I am dealing with online here. If we went to 95 South, Why_not31, the wait would not have been as long....

Wow, there are theories about me? ; )

Followed you guys to Franklin Park and hung out a bit. Ooh how I love being the 'Invisible Man', the dude right in your face, yet your own biases prevent you from seeing him. Snowboard Queen, I too have theories.
  • --oops...was gonna say that it may not have been the large group you saw packed in at Crow Hill Bistro, that these guys moved on to Franklin Park instead...

But you got that already. :)
  • 95 S would have been a better choice that night.

From what I was told the reunion group was far larger than both the Crow Hill Bistro and the sorority organizers expected. Service was slooooow.

...feel free to organize the next one.
  • Nope.

Theories about you? I think not.

Invisible man? the dude right in your face? Wrong again. Invisible men are seldom in ones face.

Time to come out of the shadows and be counted if you wish to be taken seriously.

What a silly game you play.
  • Park Place, this is for you my dear. Also, you gotta pick up Ralph Ellison's 'Invisible Man', friend ...

Wait for the chorus! A minute and 40 seonds in!
