Love Your Library Day - May 15th! $1 Book Sale and Rally

What:

As Brooklyn Public Library faces an unprecedented budget cut, we need your support more than ever. So please join us for Love Your Library Day, featuring a book sale, live music, arts and crafts, an author talk and more. Plus, help us advocate to your elected officials to avoid this severe budget cut.

When:

Saturday, May 15, 10 AM – 5 PM

10 AM –
4 PM: $1 Book Sale


11 AM –
1 PM: Arts & Crafts / Tattoos for Kids


11:30 AM –
12:30 PM: Lost in the Stacks (first set, weather permitting)


12 PM: Advocacy rally


1 PM: The Great Migration Adventure – a kids performance in the Dweck Center.


1:30 PM –
2:30 PM: Lost in the Stacks performance (second set, weather permitting)


4 PM: Cosmopolis: Immigrant Writers in NYC: Preston Allen – an author talk for adults in the Dweck Center.
