Is Le Toukouleur Closed?

I haven't gone yet! No!

I've walked by a few times lately and they definitely look closed. Sad, but not very surprising. We had a few great meals there but most times we were the only table in the place. I can't help but think that they might have been a few years too early for that location. If they opened now they might have been a little more appreciated.

I walk by there on my way to and from work every day and yes they do appear closed. However, I can suggest another great place just up the street on Bedford between Putnam and madison called "Folukie". I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! It is Senegalese and Trinidadian and they have the best stew fish and calalloo I have ever had anywhere and they also have jazz bands in there so check it out!

The last few times we tried to go, it was closed. No notice or anything. Just closed up tight.

Subject: closed
I saw a notice up a couple of weeks ago advertising a "bank foreclosure auction". Oh well.
Howdy, Stranger!
