Lost Orange Cat — Brooklynian

Lost Orange Cat

edited November -1 in Park Slope
My small blonde-orange house cat jumped out of my first floor window Sunday morning between 3am and 8am and is lost. He is about 2 1/2 years old and 8 pounds, wearing a collar with his name "Mowgli" and both of my phone numbers on it. He is friendly but very shy, so if you see him, please call me at 718 670-1699 or 907 244-6426. And if you live on the first floor and have a grate he could crawl through into your entranceway, please look behind any objects he may be hiding behind if you have a moment. He has hid in such areas before and been completely undetectable.

Thank you.

  • I just saw your posters up and down 7th Ave. I hope Mowgli comes home. You might want to start ringing some bells asking the neighbors to keep an eye out for him.

p.s. check the "ask Brooklynian" thread near the bottom to learn how to post a picture.
  • According to Fido, this cat is happily home.
  • Yes! He has been found! Thanks to everyone for their help!
  • Great news! Where was he?
  • He was a few houses down, hiding in the back of a basement. A couple people spotted him coming out to investigate the street and called me. He ran back into the basement and we had to move a pile of wood to rescue the scared little thing.
  • Aw. Poor boo boo. I'm glad he's home safe again. Hopefully he will realize that life is NOT better out on the street
