Besides al di la, is anything decent open tonight? I forgot I have to take a friend to dinner and everything seems to be closed.

    Really? I was on 5th avenue a couple Mondays ago and everything seemed to be humming...and that's not even mentioning 7th avenue. What do you know for sure is closed? I only ask so I won't recommend anything that isn't an option...

    360 is closed in Red Hook, Sette is closed and Miracle Grill. I think Coquotte is closed? Mary's Fish Camp?? Uhm can't remember. It seems everywhere we looked was closed.

    Nana's appetizers -- Indian pancakes, spicy raviolis, hot and sour lemongrass soup, dumplings and more -- are tasty indeed!

    For Mexican, Mezcal's at 396 5th Avenue is open on Mondays.

    Thanks there were a lot of things open. Why I went to Mary's again after I swore off that place is beyond me (although the garden is nice). it is very expensive and I left hungry!! I used to love Rosewater but I did get food poisoning there and have avoided it until I went back and got sick again on the fish!!
