Learning MS Project FAST

Hi all!

I just got a job (after nearly 2 years of unemployment! WHOOO!), but before I start they want me to get certified in MS Project. Can anyone recommend a local place or a place I can do training and certification online? Thanks!

  • My wife used Paradigm Publishing's book for MS Excel and was quite happy with is. The have a book for Project but it only covers 2002

Are you a project manager? Then you know the terms and concepts, when I used it it pretty easy but that was an older version and I'm sure it has become, like so many of these things, very bloated

Of course you've googled for new york ms project training, right

    and ms project tutorials.

    Tones of tutorials on YouTube.com

    and, yea, btw, congrats!
  • You could try Lynda.com. I've heard from a lot of friends in similar situations to you that the tutorials are good! congratulations on your new job!
  • The Brooklyn Public Library offers various computer courses.
  • Thanks everybody!

@BrooklynJack, yup, googled all of those. I'm a pretty good self-teacher, and I'd be happy just reading some books and doing a youtube tutorial, but the company that hired me wants to pay for me to take a course so I'm going with it.

So far, NewHorizons.com is looking promising. Anyone use them before?
