Natural Heights Now Open!

We're having some technical difficulties with the Flash ad (currently only working for FireFox users :? ) but we ARE NOW OPEN FOR BUSINESS! Feel free to stop by and say "hi!"

Oh, while supplies last, get a free soy candle with a $20 dollar purchase.

Natural Heights, 688 Washington @ St Marks.

Yeah! Stop on by! The hours haven't been set in stone, but we're thinking 10am - 8pm Tues - Sun. Hours may be extended if foot traffic warrants it.
  • congratulations!
  • Mrs. C and I just went and checked it out. The place looks (and smells) great! The selection was really well thought-out. They have tons of products I've never seen before, as well as most of the major brands in this category that I was aware of. We stocked up on some California Naturals cat food, Mrs. Meyer's lemon-verbena dishwasher detergent, Tom's of Maine toothpaste, and Caldrea basil blue sage liquid hand soap. Why-Fi gave us a free candle, and there were free samples available of lots of products. I definitely plan on returning (items I didn't need today, but noticed for future reference include Melita coffee filters and Seventh Generation paper products).

Good luck, Mr. and Mrs. Why-Fi, and congrats on a great addition to the neighborhood!
  • Great! See you Tuesday!
  • hey bro dont forget to give me some flyers. i'll leave em in my van.

Absolutely - we just need to bump in to each other sometime! I haven't seen you around the house, or at least not your vehicle. Or stop by when you're around - we have some material at the store.

    will do :).
  • Just got back from my first visit to the neighborhood's pretty new natural products store. Bought a 100-pack of coffee filters, all-natural bug spray (damn mosquitoes have taken over our back yard) and some Burt's Bees stuff. Picked up some free samples and a lovely soy candle door prize. And Mrs. Why-Fi and I chatted in person for a while.

Oh, and while I was walking on Washington Avenue, I noticed (although they've been open since April) Cakeworks on the same block, which has everything you need to bake cakes, and classes in cake decorating too. It was a productive outing.

Good luck, guys. It's a beautiful space, and may it be a successful venture.
  • I thought Mr. and Mrs. WhyFi deserved a bump here. I love my Mrs. Meyer's dish soap samples. I'll have to go back and buy a bottle! Y'all should check out the shop, if you haven't already.
  • do you guys carry kombucha? ...i'm addicted, you see... and well... yeah.
  • free soy candles you say....

No, no (human) food or drinks... But with all of the interest, there's a possibility of a grocery spin-off in the future.

First a tattoo on your butt and then soy candles...
  • Damn, I forgot to get my tattoo. Next time.

I'm glad that my anguished english makes the boards a little more enjoyable for you!

Okay, so maybe it was a little out of context for everyone but q.
  • I visited Natural Heights last week before I ran away to Las Vegas and I found everything I needed:

body soap so I could be clean and fresh for my airplane ride
cat food so my babies don't starve
kitty litter freshener so I didn't have to come home to kitty pooh stench

and lots of other stuff that I can only categorize as "good" impulse buys.

great addition to the nabe and most especially to Washington Ave. :)
  • I somehow *totally* missed this thread and didn't realize they were open yet, so: bump bump bump!

Just stopped by Natural Heights and have to add my voice to the recommendations -- the store is clean, bright, and chock full of good-smellin' stuff.

Also, in addition to meeting Mr. and Mrs. WhyFi, I got to meet the legendary Lucy. She's so sweet! And getting some puppy kisses is always a welcome addition to any shopping expedition.

Congratulations on opening your shop -- it's gorgeous!
