Not park slope, but the new French place on Prospect Ave and 9th Ave has a big signature salad with tons of stuff including hearts of palm and green beans........... delicious.
I am always partial to the arugula salad at Bar Toto, but it's just arugula, parm and lemon. -
Not park slope,
That's helpful, but can you please stay on topic. -
Mcdonald's Premium Southwest Salad with Grilled Chicken
fresh-grilled chicken, fresh mixed greens, oven-roasted tomatoes, fire-roasted corn, savory black beans, poblano peppers, shredded cheddar and jack cheeses, chili lime tortilla strips and a fresh-sliced lime wedge on the side.

for something more casual, luscious has a great beet salad too. they're only open till 9pm, but it's a terrific place, especially for vegetarians.

don't forget to check on whichever place you go to make sure they're open on mondays. quite a few restaurants in the slope are closed monday it seems. -

dont know what lardo is, but I'm a vegetarian too, i just pick out the chicken and throw it away. its not mixed in, just cut into strips and laid on top. -
LOL lardo is actually lardons which is french bacon bits
AOC Bistro has really good salads
Blue Ribbon has a really good market salad and goat cheese salad
but in case you don't know there is a great vegetarian spot 'snice at 5th ave and 3rd with great salads and vegetarian sandwiches -
Lardo is not the same as lardons. Lardo refers to the cured fat of the pig belly. It is quite a delicacy.

All this talk 'bout beets is giving me a Lardon.

Try Burrito Bar and Kitchen. The House Salad is delicous and get the carrot dressing. Also lots of vegetarian items on the menue. Food has upgraded in the last 2 years and it is definately a go-to spot in Park Slope, its really Prospect Heights side of the street but in the park Slope co mmunity. Friendly staff too. And a nice cool drink tops off the night. located at 305 Flatbush right on the corner of Prospect Place. btw, the owner is a vegetarian.

1. Market Salad at Blue Ribbon
2. By all means, take them to Sun in Bloom on Bergen. Amy is a wonderful person who walks the walk and serves ridiculously yummy raw and vegan food. -
what's the deal with sun in bloom, shortcake?
the place looks terrible from the outside. no sign, it's been really shoddily painted white now (even though it looked excellent before green) and generally the place half the time looks like it's closed up.
it's not at all welcoming like it used to be. -

You have to remember that the turnaround time from Organic Heights to Sun in Bloom was a whopping eight days. She was looking for a space for a concept, an completely functioning and freshly vacated spot fell on her lap, and she decided to run with it and remodel it as it goes. The paint job is recent and, frankly, very much needed. The place still looked too much like Organic Heights. I've seen what she wants the new logo to look like, and it's beautiful.

Once you step inside, though, it all changes. You immediately see that this is a VERY different place with a whole lot of vision. There's a full menu. Amy tries her best to learn every customer's name. She also is very big on the concept of PH-neutral water that, while pricey, a lot of people swear by. The food is uniformly excellent, with a Bloom Burger that meets this meat-eater's standards. You're going to spend more than you thought you would, in all cases, but I can imagine the cost on some of what it takes to make this sort of food is also higher.
The place has definitely attracted a following, with a steady flow of customers, and it being downright packed at times. It's never appeared "closed up" to me in the last but, rather, very vibrant. I thought it was Organic Heights that had zero ambiance. It's also one of your best chances in the Slope at a Gyllenhall sighting.
It sure sounds like I'm shilling, but I'm glad to sound like one for businesses in the neighborhood run by good people who are giving it their all. This is one of them. Absolutely give it a chance.
