elgoats, Just about every single subway line that goes into lower Manhattan bottlenecks in Brooklyn Heights not too far from the park.
That includes the 2,3,4,5,A,C,M, and R trains.
And the ones that don't have direct access like the B,D,F,G etc, have easy transfers nearby to the ones that do.

And there are a ton of busses from all over Brooklyn that drop nearby, or even a few that go right there.
Hence Modsquad's response above.
Parking near the park is nearly impossible. Or expensive, in a garage.
You are much better served via public transit. -
