it's open and they have lots of delicious things (and very well priced, i might add).
bread is from balthazar bakery, pastries might be too, and they have great coffee and then lots of good prepared foods which they make in house and are about half the price of union market. also do boxed lunches for kids and ample hill's creamery ice cream.
lovely place and not at all like blue apron.

oooh....excellent....can't wait to check them out!

The salmon and the chicken were good. Oddly, the vegetables, particularly the carrots, were even better.

I just went in earlier. The food looks tasty, but there doesn't seem to be very much of it..... I was expecting more of a market (a la Union Market on a smaller scale), but maybe I didn't pay enough attention to the articles or maybe there is more coming later........They have a few display cases with food, sandwiches and a few drinks...prices seemed very reasonable, but the overall look inside was very sparse.
They also had a few ice creams - including a bacon one that I want to go back and try -
the hangar steak and roasted red pepper sandwich on a half baguette is incredibly delicious.
and at $4.25, a relative bargain in my opinion. -
Visited yesterday. They seem to have done their homework, it does not overlaps with what is available at Blue Apron and it is way better than what is found at the prepared foods counter at Union Market.
The sparse feeling may be part of it. It does not look as a foolish let's-try-it operation, but rather as a well planed, careful endeavor. I bet they will add more items as time and experience increase.
The ice cream is fantastic. Salad was really good and the sandwiches excellent. Sweet service, plenty of care. I will definitely go back. I hope others also do and Lucas Fine Foods prospers. -
Their website sucks REAL bad..... I ain't going there.

I went in and didn't see much at all. Plus, the a/c wasn't running. Not a good first impression. However, I intend to drop in over the next few months as per teething period.
