1st. time wasin new bedford mass. my brother inlaw was a disc jockey at a local radio station this was in 1953 jerry vale was just getting started and my brother in law promoted his records on his radioshow we caught his show at the local small nite club. he was great andwe loved his music he was very young and gracious.the second meeting was 54 yrs later year 2007 he gave a summer concert right here in massapequa nancy and i cot there early duringhis rehearsal he came into the audiance i introduced my self to him
and reminded him of our 1st. meeting 54 years earlier im sure he remembered
my brotherinlaw ,because he ccommented how is dave sweet but im sure he was being kind when he thought he did remember us from the hi way casino
again still being kind and gracious well i didnt mean to ramble on sue but thanks again for some great musuc.

brother-in-law, that says alot about him (nice guy)

and as far as those darn bushes.....I cant really get to them because
they are in between my fence and my neighbors......but they were
intertwined through the fence and into my bushes. So, I got rid of them.
I cant believe how many times I mentioned my bushes this week

Had a crazy weekend, very busy, but good busy....

Hey Terry, If you or anyone else on the blog wants to pay for our 50th Anniversary cruise in a couple of weeks, I will not only thank you but I will kiss your____that is feet, not A--. Its okay. We already paid for it. Went all out. Have reserved a balcony suite because of the special occasion. Will celebrate the day while on the cruise!! As far as this generation is concerned, my kids have to sit on our Grandkids to get them to thank us for anything. One thing I have learned, the nickel or quarter we used to get from visiting relatives when we were kids sure does not work anymore. When we go North and see our grandkids we give those NOT having a birthday, graduation or anything special $10.00 just for fun. If anyone had given me $10 when I was a kid I would have gone into shock. I know, I know times and the value of money has changed. Unfortuneatly so have manners and gratitude. :-'
