<--- once a teenage skateboarder that really dug the board slides and curbs at the local Taco Bell parking lot some ~28 odd years ago

Hmm also... (from Arsonist thread, emphasis mine):
Again tonight. Two fire trucks on Underhill at Park Place, firemen looked into a silver SUV for a while. Then somebody on a skateboard comes up and says something about another fire and one of the other trucks goes off.

Could just be coincidence, of course.

In addition to providing lots of affordable housing, I remember hearing that there will be little impact on traffic.
