Beastly Bite on 7th Ave-BITES!
The Owner of this store doesn't care about animals but owns a pet store just for the money. The products are overpriced and you can get them at most other pet stores where they are more affordable, the customer service is better and where they actually like animals. The only saving grace to this pet store was an employee by the name of Emma and her cute little pup Ace. I also found out even though they were a pet store they wouldn't let Emma bring Ace in anymore; kinda funny since EVERYONE loved Ace.
I went in today to find out Emma is no longer there and the person at the front was completely ignorant to products and could have cared less to be there. Further more if you have cleavage then the guy working the front will pay attention to you and even give you a discount but watch out for everyone who does't have cleavage from now on you will not get good service in this store.
I am also scared to think of what will become of the store cat since people have admitted to not giving food or water to him if Emma isn't working and once again the Owner doesn't care.
Also watch out if you do animal rescue I have personally heard the Owner call us "Crazy Cat Ladies" and it isn't meant in a good way. We purchase more than the average pet owner and yet he wants to insult us.
I am completely disgusted with this store and the way they want to throw away their only good employee. They let the wrong person go! They will not be getting the $100 plus dollars a week I would spend there anymore. I'll choose to go out of my way now to spend my money.

1. Report Cruelty:
In NYC: (212) 876-7700, ext. 4450 -
unfortunately it isn't that easy to report and they can easily say it is being provided and case closed. The rescue group was told about the woman being let go and removed the cat today. So if anyone knows of someone looking for an awesome 1yr old grey cat who is super sweet Smokey is homeless again.

If it matters, I can vouch for adeslong. This is one "crazy cat lady" that will not spend another cent at Beastly Bite due to the horrible way Emma and Smokey were treated.

Did Beastly Bite move from Court St. to this place? I know the Court St. people and am very surprised by this. But even with that said I would still take Caseo's word for it. -
They have a few different locations. The owner is a real jerk and doesn't really care about the pets, just the money. It's a shame that store could be great if they cared.

We used to go to the one on Court St. years ago, it was great. But I think it was bought out and now it's become something of a chain.
The cat, Smokey, was removed from the store because Emma was the only one who took care of him. Turns out the owner never paid the adoption fee and lied about having another store cat so Smokey wouldn't be all alone.
Howdy, Stranger!
