On Tuesday, the Food Network star Sandra Lee’s cooking — specifically her lasagna — took a public knock from her possible future mother-in-law, Matilda Cuomo, mother of the New York State attorney general and Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andrew Cuomo.read the rest of the travesty:
Ms. Lee’s lasagna recipe calls for two cans of condensed Campbell’s tomato soup and a container of cottage cheese. When a reporter from the news channel NY1 asked Mrs. Cuomo whether her son might prefer the tomato-soup version to his mother’s own, she dismissed the idea.
“That’s not how you make a lasagna,” Mrs. Cuomo said, gently (but firmly).
We took Ms. Lee’s recipe for a spin, and found that Mrs. Cuomo had a point.

Absolutely NOT Voting For Andrew Cuomo! How can anyone trust a man who has no respect for his own culture. Italians are very proud people, they are the best cooks in the world, everyone loves Italian Cusine. Andrew Cuomo has allowed his girlfriend to make a mockery out of the Italian people and the Italian culture. He has disgraced all the Italians from Brooklyn to the Bronx, Little Italy, 187th Street, Westchester County, New Jersey, Buffalo, and even Boston and Carolinas and the retirees in Florida. I'm voting for a real Italian for Governor, Carl Paladino, at least he has a healthy attitude. Cuomo's, what's in a name like that, certainly not an Italian? He's nothing more than a syllable, but a syllable does not make this man an Italian. He's absolutely not a goumba. [-X

I'm a first-generation American, the child of immigrants. Immigrants who certainly did nothing to "destroy" this country. How long have your ancestors been here? Are you 100% native American? Because if not, you're an immigrant too. Hate to break it to you.

This country, like most other countries, was founded on economic principles. Religious idealism and practice were secondary at most, a coincidence at the least.
