7th Heaven...the one with Jessica Biel, right?

They sometimes film TV shows in the neighborhood, so probably I was one of literally dozens who thought the WB's "Seventh Heaven," was going to be filming Sunday, and wondered how WB got a permit to film along about 15 blocks of 7th Avenue.

Right?

  • The fair was so Meh this year. Booths really far apart, not much food, no art, cheap jewelry, no beer stands............... 5th ave fair last year was zillons better. One band by the hospital was pretty good but it was too freakin hot to stand around.
  • I thought the bands were terrible, and amplified to the point where they could be heard in China. The fair organizers should be made aware that bad music causes some of us to close our wallets and flee.
  • only thing i know is she is hot.
  • I missed that again,
  • bloomberg is having the city cut back on permits for new street fairs, last year the city took in 1.6 million from street fairs and paid out 4 million in overtime to the police dept.

mayor mike, i think it's time to raise the fees or consolidate some of these fairs .
two weeks ago there was one on PPW , sunday was 7th heaven and there was the 5th ave's in may.

i guess the slope can't get enough of those white socks.
  • I liked it. I actually thought it was better than the 5th Avenue fair this year. There was plenty of art, all the good stuff was close to Flatbush. Around 3rd Avenue the fair turned into the usual funnel cake/ fried oreos/ socks area which could be skipped. But until there it was pretty good in my opinion.
  • I got what I wanted: snacks from the Chilis and Chocolate booth, people watching, and it wasn't too crowded.

Did anyone else see the medical intuitive? I wanted a reading just to see what the heck she would say.
  • There's only so much variety of homemade shea butter and shish-kebab stands you're going to find. I don't think there's been a good 7th Heaven since the 5th Year after the first one.
  • I was happy to see the art vendors there, that is an improvement over the 5th Ave fair. But yeah - I walked the entire length of the thing and saw only four beer vendors I think. And the most exotic draft I saw was Negro Modelo. I do thank Cocoa Bar for the $3 bottles of Bluepoint Toasted Lager, that's what finally got me through.
