Clinton at Fulton — Brooklynian

Clinton at Fulton

Hi all,

I'm moving from Williamsburg to a studio on Clinton at Fulton, right off the C stop. It seemed like a nice, safe location from the times I visited the area and I have a few friends in Fort Greene a few blocks away. I was wondering, what those familiar with the area thought about it. Is is safe? Is there a laundromat nearby?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • these threads about safe neighborhoods really are a bit ridiculous but...
yes you are safe (as much as you can be in nyc)
and there is a nice big laundromat on fulton just east of washington.
  • I agree with saram.

The best way to answer this question is to experience it for yourself. Check the crime stats for your area. Walk around during the day and night. Talk to neighbors and business owners. Attend a community meeting to get a feel of the state of your neighborhood.

Decide for yourself if you feel comfortable. A lot of this is about your own perceptions and perspective. If you don't or you feel the need to keep asking that question, you might be better off somewhere else.
  • NO it is NOT SAFE. Leave now while you have the chance or the scary poor brown people will eat you.
  • Oh, is that all? It's a good thing I'm brown then.
