Brooklyn Back When - Open Thread

Morning all -

Was just on facebook and read that Robert Horan's wife, Arlene, had an accident while she was riding her horse. According to Janet, she's in grave condition and Robert is on his way back from China and won't arrive until tonight. Suzie - someone else to add to the prayer list.

Debbie - keep us posted please on Kati. What hospital will she be in? (thank heavens jury duty is done and over with for the next 6 years!)

Hope everyone is getting ready for the 4th of July. It's my niece's birthday - when she was little she used to think the fireworks were for her bday! Hmm, she still does!! Keep safe everyone. My neighborhood is very quiet - guess the crackdown on fireworks worked (at least until the night of the 4th).

It's absolutely gorgeous out - everyone go out and enjoy! The 3 h's will be back by Monday - yuck.

Debbie - Wishing Katie nothing but the best. And thank you I am feeling a little better, still coughing, I think it is just allergies.

Helen - Happy Birthday to Peter in heaven....I am sure he is enjoying watching the Mets play (I hope they are still winning, thats what I heard my husband say a few days ago..lol lol )

So busy at work, just trying to finish up and then I go on VACATION next week!!!!!

Spent the day at the beach again.....I figured it's the last time i'll really get to do anything by myself this summer. But I felt guilty sitting there knowing I have some many loose ends. Finished the day at shoprite....tomorrow I'll start getting things together here...lol
