photos of the dreamy vet or he doesn't exist
Girlfriend.. you must be kidding?
You want someone to take the dog or cat to tis vet and snap a picture and post it here?
Lol!
Second thought.. great idea!!!
Then we can start a poll with subject..
Who is the DREAMIEST vet in PS (male or female!). -
if you love me, you will do it ;-)
I have not met a dreamy vet in the Slope yet. -

I have met GREAT vets but indeed.. none of them were "dreamy" no matter where you individual preferences swing to.

I also had one of those impossible cats at the vet...PPW Animal Clinic used to sedate him slightly. When I first went to Dr. Maddon, my baby was too old for sedation so he would stare at him and talk to him....Maddon said it was to get his attention so he could be handled a bit better. Dr. Maddon also tried to do the exam with as little stress as possible to my fur baby because of the age. I called him the cat whisperer.

stupid question: should one meet w/one's vet before acquiring a new pet? I see Dr. Quim for my cat, but we're getting a dog...should we have a pre-dog appt. with him, or is that rediculous?

To accomplish what? Not trying to be snarky, but what are you trying to find out? How to pick out the right dog for you or something else? -
I don't think you need a pre-appointment.
When I got a dog I made an appointment to have a check-up just to meet the vet while the dog was well to make sure I liked the vet and staff and to get the dog chipped.
Since you already know the vet and staff, I wouldn't think you need to go in unless you have questions you think are best answered by a vet.
And congrats on getting a dog!
