Yes, that is because, unless I am mistaken, the NBPP had not been reported to be involved in years of cross burnings or, most importantly, the lynching of numerous white people. It's unfortunate that hate exists anywhere. The reality is, when someone can take their hate and wreak havoc with it , and do - they will obviously draw more "outrage." Think 9/11.
Until we learn different, this is just a really angry Black man yelling in the street. Hell, angry white folks yell too - just not usually in the middle of a major metropolitan area - and not always so we can all see their faces.
Just for the record, Philly - if that is where he is from - is f*cked up right now. Has been for a long time. The levels of poverty, the disenfranchisement, the failings of the education system for the poor, in a major city that also is surrounded by wealth - it's a breeding ground for crime and hate. Racism, and racial separation has been a strong part of the fabric of Philadelphia for years. -

I saw that Geraldo had the NBPP and its leader Malik Shabazz on his Fox News show the other day.
In typical O'Reilly/Hannity/Fox News anchor fashion, Geraldo spent the entire time...
1) playing only controversial soundbites of NBPP folks and folks that claim to be affiilated, focusing on narrow, fear-mongering themes
2) hurling accusations and judgmental rhetoric at Malik Shabazz and his org, calling them white baby killers (no joke..)
then..
3) shouting over him or cutting to commercial any time Malik Shabazz attempted any manner of well-mannered response
And so it went for 30 minutes. Typical. STFU and let the man speak!
As a result, NBPP was given no opportunity to respond to this 30-minutes of a well orchestrated shock-and-awe campaign.
And the Fox News crowd got exactly what it wanted.
Utterly infuriating. -

In fact, no voters at all in the Philadelphia precinct have come forward to allege intimidation. The complaints have come from white Republican poll watchers, who have given no evidence they were registered to vote in the majority black precinct

If anyone fears Tea Partiers strength they're idiots or they're not paying attention. Almost 80% of Tea Partiers are Republicans to begin with, and self-identified Tea Partiers represent a small percentage of American voters.
Despite what Fox News and CNN would like you to believe, aside from putting moderate Scott Brown in office, and probably helping Harry Reid win a reelection he was doomed to lose, the only thing the Tea Party is achieving is pushing the Republican party further to right, which, as a progressive, is something I wholly support. -
The original black panthers were more fun. They took the constitution seriously, especially the Second Amendment. Definitely friends of the NRA.

no i didn't say that, i just didn't see any verbal arguments from the vid. its probably how the vid is shot, but i didn't see it. they were pretty free to move about preaching their hate, unlike other vids i see of skin heads and the kkk. you have police standing there and other people shouting them down. -
