its like Hamilton and other few posters becoming mod. god who made that brilliant decision?

    Not sure what your issue is, other than perhaps disagreement.

    i never notice him to be freaking mod!!!

    this is my protest post!!!!! too adversarial for my taste to be mod. mods are mostly neutral.

    Are you referring to posts on the (nearly anything-goes) Politics board?

    Due to its subject matter and the need for all such sites to have a spleen valve, that board is subject to far more open and less-restricted conversation.

    modships should be given to people who are mostly neutral and aren't adversarial and divisive. hence i'm making a stink out of it now. since i just notice some how he become a mod.

    On the other hand, especially on the no-holds-barred Politics board, if bold and divisive (and potentially unfeasible and unsupported) claims are made by one member, any member has the right to give examples to the contrary.

    This isn't circle jerking. It's debate. It's just statements examined in the context of any other evidence presented to support or contradict them.

    You have to consider whether or not something one person posted has plenty of evidence to the contrary to contradict it. If so, it's definitely open to question and debate.

    oh please alot of stuff he says are just circle of jerks and with only a few posters. not just political stuff. i'm protesting his modship!!!

    total bs. I been a long time poster i generally have problems with most posters unless it was ham or him or a few other posters who are very divisive.

    Have you considered that many of your thread topics come from a strong bias regardless of much evidence to the contrary?

    No prob, it's any person's right to believe what they want.

    And also any person's right to provide specific evidence to the contrary.

    What do you consider to be more of a circle jerk:

    - Making bold, negative, broad and unsubstantiated claims about whole groups of people

    or

    - Providing actual examples and cases that demonstrate the opposite

    ?

    For a counter-example:

    If someone constantly posted claiming that your people were the root of all evil and responsible for the problems of the world (with new examples provided several times weekly), would you let that stand?

    Or would you cite clear evidence that it's just not a fair or correct statement?

    i'm not going to get in to it right now and look through tons of post history. look at my latest post about its good to be white, he jumps in an starts with china and Uighurs etc... just getting to the point of annoying. thats why since i now found out he is a mod, i'm going to go give it right back to him with free native americans and millions of natives die and killed by the white man etc...

    it's like the supreme courts ruling on indecency. when i see it i know it. same thing with him. i see him as someone that can't be partial.

    None of us mods are completely impartial. We all have strong opinions about one issue, or topic, or hot button item. Some of us have opinions about many things.

    But we all strive to be reasonable, and to behave in a manner that allows for open discussion without creating drama or making situations worse. The fact that you didn't notice that BG was a mod until today says that he's been sucessful at maintaining an even keel, keeping the peace, and not wielding his modly powers in too heavy-handed a manner.

    So in other words, you can think he's a jerk, and you can disagree with him on substantive issues, but the fact that you do doesn't automatically make him a bad moderator.

    now that i know he is a mod, he shouldn't be!! today i caught him posting about Uighurs and inserting china into my discussion about how good its it being white. Muslim/Uighurs issue has nothing to do with asians wanting to be white. In the past i would just let him go about his business, but now i know he is a mod different story. he shouldn't be allow to get away with this type of bs.

    mods are very much like cops, love to defend each other even though it shouldn't be. there shouldn't be a thick ass mod line!!

    I'm just going to be annoying as he is. in the past i left it as be since didn't know he was a mod. now that i know :). i'm going to go post in his post and insert asinine things like he does to mines.

    Talk about mods, there should be affirmative action on the boards!! most mods have been white mods!! that includes Hispanic whites.

    I want to see asian or black mods!!!

    Okay I have enough fun for the day :p, This is just my way of saying to Boygabriel i got my eye on you. I really don't have a problem with him being a mod. just telling him publicly I'll make a huge ass stink if he ever crosses the line.

    other wise I would of pm admins bitching about this etc....

    on a side note please don't tell me self righteous saving of asian female kind/ paternalistic master of all minorities and renters white guys like modsquad is mod? lol
