Long-term parking/storage
Does anyone know of a garage in the nabe that will cut a deal on monthly parking for a one-time in, one-time out situation? Seems like it ought to be more convenient for the garage...
I am going to be out of the country for about a month and I am looking for a cheap parking solution that does not involve leaving it on the street and 'taking the ticket'...

we do one of the following when we need to leave the car here for an extended period of time:
1. have someone move the car for street cleaning
2. park it with family/friends who have a driveway in the suburbs or far out bklyn/queens
just in case you haven't thought of these possibilities -
There's an outdoor ParkFast garage at Hoyt and Schermerhorn that used to have a 'Storage' rate (discounted, and you pay each time you take it out). Not sure if it's still the case, but worth investigating.
