20,000 in the park?
Comments

It must have been a lot of people, because I usually can't hear the people cheering like I was able to last night from my house.
-
Sharon Jones said last night's show had set a record of more than 20,000 people. It was a great show.
-
Possible, that's when the venue was closed. The Roots had a whole lot more, and that was just chaotic.
-
Jah bless Sharon Jones and the entire Daptone Record label.
-
the bandshell area itself supposedly holds 6,000. It's possible the rest gathered outside the fence and across the park drive.
By the way, who was playing around 2-3pm? Was it their soundcheck/warmup or another act? -
Boygabriel - You put on a hell of a show. Were you also on stage with Budos?
