Morning all - HAPPY FRIDAY!!

The weather is supposed to great all weekend. YES - open the windows and give the house a change of air. Maybe I'll be able to get something done besides sweat!!

Judy - how's Laura doing? still in a cast?

Anthony - is the wedding weekend?? Have a great time and congratulations all around.

Patsy - I can't believe you watch the Jersey Shore!

If anyone's interested - this weekend at South Beach - in good ole SI - they're having Back to the Beach - there's all kinds of vendors and food and things for the kids and music. I think they end it at 9pm w/a fireworks display. It's very nice and always very crowded.

Hello All, Just a memory jogger. Do any of you remember that in addition to the Hudson River Day Line cruises which sailed up the Hudson as far as Albany, there was a boat that sailed from the Battery to Keensburg NJ. When you got there, there was a beach, amusement rides, carnival games etc;. Many people from Brooklyn had bungalows there as well. Add Rockaway Point, Breezy Point which you could get to via the Marine Parkway Bridge or a boat from Sheepshead Bay. Those places were loaded with Firemen & Policemen from Brooklyn. Lots of places besides Coney Island for summer fun in and around NYC> :sunny:
