photos: prints to digital
I have thousands of print photos from my pre-digital that I would love to have scanned to digital format. This just seems like far too big of a project for home scanning.
Any rec's for a place in NYC that does this and the costs?

I've used this service before and it's been pretty slick and a decent value. They send you a box, you dump your photos in and send it back to them, they deliver you back your photos and digital images. Jostens is the company that prints yearbooks so they are careful with photos and understand the value of them.

Interesting...I'm a little hesitant to trust a middleman (delivery) with my precious photos, but it does seem like a good option otherwise. Thanks!
