another 1st bday
I know someone recently posted something similar, but I'm in desperate need of a room for my daughter's first birthday party. does anyone know of any good room rentals for about 50 adults and 12 children? i'm in dyker heights/bensonhurst but am willing to go to pretty much any area of brooklyn and some parts of southwestern queens.

You should check out some of your local restaurants to see if they have a small space to use.
There are a few Knights of Columbus halls that will also cater. I know the one on 86th street does and I think the one in Bensonhurst also. -
a lot of churches also have spaces they will rent. i don't know any central location for that information, unfortunately, but you might try calling any near you.
