Hi Suzie, I am so sorry for your Mom and your family but the reality is this is what happens to most of us when we reach that age and we are not feeling that well.
I know exactly what your going through and I would like to ask you if you have any thoughts about sending her for rehab, it you have I can help you, your Family can do every thing for her but the reality is she might need professional therapy I have seen these people do wonders

Joe ........ Im sorry yesterday was a tough one.....in time it will get easier.
Trust me.....after 34 yrs of losing my brother. I can say this year was the
easiest. Maybe because of my Family, my 2 Grandchildren and you guys
made it easier for me!

Patsy .....I ended up back on 17st last night. I took Nicole and Samantha
there. It was kind of sad to see my Mom looking at Samantha with no
smile and just knodding her head a little. With the Dementia, I think my
Mom forgot how to smile. Breaks my heart!
How did the block party go in Dyker Heights?

Fred thanks for those words. I see what Rehab has done for you and Petrina
I wish it was that easy .....My Dad has total say in what is right for my Mom right
now. He fears what will happen to my Mom once she is in there.
He might be right.....my Mom has the late stages of Dementia and anywhere
other than her familiar surroundings makes her aggitated and her pressure
goes up. We had a hard time keeping her from pulling out the IV's in the
Hospital. She is so calm at home.

Vinny's new puppy ....Max

We pick him up Tuesday.....I dont know if he is trying to make me totally
flip or this will make my sadness go away! I had a Rottweiler pup named
Max when Nicole was born ....but the Vet ordered me to give it back to the
Pet Shop on 86st saying he was sick and very vicious at 2 mos.

Sooo, hopefully this one is fine and will grow up with Samantha and James
