Just wanted to pass along this info for those who might want to see a good, affordable piece of theater in the nabe:

T. S. Eliot's Murder in the Cathedral, directed by OBIE-winner Alec Duffy, with original music by Dave Malloy, performed at the Church of St. Joseph, on Pacific between Vanderbilt and Underhill (the show will be in the church itself).

Sept. 16 through Oct. 2
Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.
Sundays at 2 p.m.

Tickets: $10 suggested donation ($5 each for groups of 4 or more)--NO ONE TURNED AWAY. No advance reservations necessary (it's a big church).

Featuring: Christopher Burris, Jordan Coughtry, Alexis McGuinness, Lori Parquet, Nikaury Rodruiguez, Julien Rozzell Jr., Godfrey L. Simmons Jr., Jamie Watkins
