The man speaks the truth. That's why I also included a link on the Park Slope board.
  • ooohhhhh. those snooty park slopers ain't gonna come
    no way. no how

maybe if you tell them there's gonna be a Ratnerville protest and that steve buscemi'll show up or something...
  • You and Drano have made it plenty of times. And Daniel's come before too. Maybe if we get a Settlers of Catan happy hour going one night, he'll come again!
  • I am 98% sure I'll be there. I'll be challenging the bartenders to make something interesting in the non-alcholic varietal. and finally getting to eat some of that yummy food.

It is a fact that them snooty park slopers didn't even turn out for their own happy hour ('cept me).
  • I am going to try and make it - I really need to get out :) .
  • Love to, but I'll be watching Priscilla, Queen of the Desert in Brooklyn Bridge Park, sporting my brand spanking new lawn chair.

    A girl's gotta have priorities...

In the event of rain, though, I'll plan on it. I've been on this board for over a year and I've once never made it out to one.

Hey, a Lyrics Born show is a good excuse!
  • who is Lyrics Born?

    what time is everyone thinking?
  • I'd like to come, but I'm leaving for Chicago on Friday. If I can get enough rope from my wife, though, I'll be there.
  • quijibo wrote: who is Lyrics Born?

I'll be there sometime between 7 and 7:30 p.m. I have to be in midtown til 6:30. of course, this is all banking on my job not making me come back to work after my appt.

I can be there 7ish to 8ish, depending on when others will show. I'll bring a Lyrics Born disc to Happy Hour for you to borrow if you want.

  • Is this going to be another event where two people show up?

well, prospect heights usually gets a better turn out. maybe we can pull it off with 4 ppl? for the record, I'm wearing a beige ruffly lace blouse with red flowers on it and a black skirt. feel free to say howdy.
  • I notice that the turnout has been lower since we switched to Thursday nights. I'm wondering if, especially during the summer, there are too many other things going on on Thursday nights, and if maybe we should switch back to Wednesdays after this week. I'll start a poll on the topic next week.

Yeah no kidding. Thursdays are always kinda hectic. I'm out like 90% of the time. I don't even think whoever made us change it goes either...
  • i'm gonna catch a short film in dumbo first
be getting to Flatbush Farm 'tween 8 - 8:30pm

and to everyone else for showing up

whoever's ear felt a hot buzz
yes. we were talking about you :D

    peace out yo!
  • I'd say that FF is pretty good - definitely a candidate for future outings. And even better is this late night Abazz burger...

    Mmm... Albaz........
  • The question is...has anyone eaten something other than the burger and fries there? Some of that stuff looks pretty old & nasty.
