Morning All
TGIF!! Took long enough to get here.
Happy Anniversary in Heaven David - say hello to my mom and dad please...
Sounds like good news Judy - I keep praying.
Joe - how cute - little piggies with the momma tiger (sure hope she doesn't get hungry!)
Anthony - chin up - life's good. Remember we're all here for each other. Maybe a little sunshine will help - go out - it gorgeous. I'd come with you if I wasn't at work.
Warren - Florida sounds pretty good. The older I get, the more I dread the winter. I don't mind the cold - but the snow and ice are another story. One of the weathermen here calls Florida the 6th Borough cause of all the NYers who live there!
Helen, Debbie, Terry, Patsy and to anyone I missed - have a great day.
Later. -

ONE WORD OF ADVICE FOR ANYONE CONSIDERING FLORIDA. YES THERE ARE TONS OF NEW YORKERS IN FLORIDA. HOWEVER, THE MAJORITY OF THEM ARE ON THE EAST COAST OF FLORIDA. HERE ON THE WEST COAST THE MAJORITY ARE MID-WESTERNERS AND RED NECKS.

Good Morning Qucikly,
Not doing good so sick..got a bug was in bed all day but i will get through it.
More IMPORTANTLY....
PLEASE, PLEASE PRAY FOR MIKES MOM LEE
She is not doing good and being transferred to NYU as soon as there id a bed.
She is now intibated (spell) and sedated and needs lots of prayers.
Mike has been there since we got home at Lutherean Hospital.
We all have our things going on and I am so happy we all have each other here even if we don't see each other all the time.
UMBRIA thank u for the songs and please feel better...
Praying hard for Jonathan that he gets well real quick like my Debbie did with the same disease.
Most importantly we must think positive and pray and God hears our prayers but sometimes does not always answer them the way we want. so when u pray u ask him to listen and please answer them the way we want the outcome to be.
Ok gotta go still not feeling good and I have a wedding tonight but I don't think Mike is going to make it.
Uncle Chubby and Aunt Marie's granddaughter ids getting married....

Okay, Presbyterian Prayers are with Mike's Mom. My prayers are for her to heal quickly and enjoy life to the fullest. I think sometimes we take life & its joys for granted. Then when that life (ourselves or someone we love) is threatened it all hits home! I believe that God is very interested in our reactions to life when we and loved ones are well as well as when illness threatens. God be with Lee and bless her family.
-
Terry - Tell Mike we are all praying for his mom....Angels all around Lee.

Hi guys
I thought those of you who are originally from the 21st street area might find this website interesting. It describes a "shoot out" that took place on Christmas Day 1925 at the the Adonis Social Club (152 20th Street). Seems like Al Capone was a regular at the Club, and even after he moved to Chicago he'd occasionally return to visit his old chums. On this day, he claims he was "just working the door" when the bullets fly and three are killed. He's released shortly after his arrest, and despite there being over twenty witnesses, no one is ever convicted. The site also has scans of a program from a social event the club held in 1917 at the Prospect Hall. Several club members and officers are listed and I thought some you might recognize a surname or two. Anyway, I knew the area had a rich history but I never heard this story before and thought I would share it with my fellow former South Brooklynites.

Guest I know who you are I read this story yesterday with you,LOL it is very interesting Todo will be turning over in his grave.
I hope a lot of you guys with so many troubles see some light soon,
Warren I know so many New Yorks are in Florida but I don't agree with you if you want to stay young and feel life there is no place like New York 24/7 you can stay busy but if you want to sit on the couch it's your choosing.
Terry I am happy you & Mike are home safe & I am very sorry to hear about Mikes Mother she will be in my prayers
Howdy, Stranger!
