PROTEST THE PAWN SHOP THIS SATURDAY
Please attend, there is strength in numbers
CROW HILL COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION
AND COUNCIL MEMBER LETITIA JAMES
SAY NO TO INAPPROPRIATE DEVELOPMENT IN CROW HILL
PROTEST/PRESS RALLY
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 16
12 NOON
CORNER OF FRANKLIN AND PARK PLACE
JOIN US AND SAY: "WE DO NOT WANT A PAWN SHOP
IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD"
From our press release:
We are gathering to show our opposition to bringing a pawn shop into our community. Crow Hill is a residential community that is working hard to bring renewed life and vitality to our commercial corridor: Franklin Avenue.
We are situated in the west section of the 77th Precinct which is currently experiencing a rise in burglaries and we believe an establishment that specializes in buying gold and electronics will not be beneficial for our neighborhood.
We are committed to the revitalization of Franklin Avenue and will bring all our resources towards the goal of improving the quality of life and public safety in Crow Hill. We are united in opposing any landlord or developer who wishes to bring inappropriate projects to our community

this pawn shop has done nothing wrong.
why don't you focus energy on EXISTING businesses that attract criminal elements, like the bodegas on Lincoln and 95 South? -
@ mr. met
We welcome all members of the community to our meetings (3rd Tuesday of each month 7:30 at LaunchPad) to voice their concerns and to work with us to improve the neighborhood.
