Our place in South Slope got hit hard, we're on the top floor and our old skylight window in the hall got busted in.

I am on Butler Place as well and it is crazy out there! -
I live on Park Place only a few doors from the shuttle doors. I'm so glad I took the S and didn't try to walk up from the 4/5 .... It hurt so bad running through it. It was the size of gum-balls and coming down hard. I tried to cover my head with my hands, but that was more painful and covered my hands with red marks when I finally got inside. I was soaked after only 30 seconds outside and my head hurt. It was nuts

Vanderbilt Ave in P Heights turned into a freaking river with white water within mere minutes! Garbage bags were FLOATING down the mini-rapids in the street! And the concrete median literally turned white from the hail. WTF?
And the hilarious thing is that on one of my open browser windows, I had the hour-by-hour forecast for weather.com open from when I checked the weather around 4pm to decide if I could wear flip-flops tonight. There was NOTHING in that report about rain let alone hail or flooding! And thankfully, I got my flip-flopped self through the front door of my building about a minute before the apocalypse started up. -
disaster at my place. 2 feet of water rushed through the garden level. I'm sure i'm not the only one. Live just off vanderbilt so i'm aussuming it was water running down hill with no where to go. Good times.

yeah, clumps of leaves and twigs allllllll over my block - drove around for an hour looking for parking tonight and another tree has fallen by that church over on St. Johns and 7th ave (yep, the one that had their cross fall during the Great Tornado of 2010).
Check my vid of the hail on the block http://bit.ly/9nCDt4 -
