  • Hey, we're only bringing down a few lobsters. Make sure one of them has your name on it. You can call it anything you like, except burnt!
  • If you live near Franklin Avenue and have never been east of Bedford, here's your chance to do some exploring. Imani also has the largest chicken coop in Brooklyn. It's egg CSA lets you buy a dozen fresh eggs every week.

Don't miss out! Able and Jeremiah, the lobstermen, will be driving down this Friday from Maine with a truck load of fresh lobster that they harvested this week. Hear what a real Maine accent sounds like, and a real fresh Maine lobster tastes like.

Saturday 4 PM. Be there but make your reservation now by texting 718-496-5139 with your "lobster, your name and number of tickets". Or email the same to "[email protected]".

Imani Garden is located at 87 Schenectady between Dean and Pacific. Lobster will be cooked "New England Style" outdoors on a bed of seaweed along with corn on the cob. Meal served with greens and drawn butter. Dinner will be preceeded by a permaculture talk by Andrew Faust and drumming by the youth from Our Lady of Charity RC Church.

And a great time will be had by all. Don't worry about the weather, we'll be eating inside the church basement.
  • Oh, I forgot, it's $20 for the dinner with a reservation and $25 without.
For you veggie people, it's $10 for corn, greens and a potato.
  • Now a special deal for Brooklynian readers: If you mention Brooklynian in your text or email, we'll give you two tickets for just $30. Now that's a working man's affordable lobster feast!
