Free electric piano — Brooklynian

Free electric piano

I have a 20-year old electric piano that's yours for the taking. One key needs repair, but otherwise it's in fine shape. The keys aren't weighted, so it doesn't feel like playing a true piano, but you might like it anyway,

I'll vacuum the case, but be forewarned that it may have a stray cat hair or two on it.

Did I mention that it's free?

Now that I've made it sound so appealing, what do you think?

PM me if you're interested. We live in Prospect Heights.

  • If it is portable, I'm thinking Duran Duran Halloween costume centerpiece
  • It's not the lightest machine in the world, and doesn't have a strap. Other than that, it would work....

Can we call you Simon LeBon?
  • I've been called worse on these boards. .....far worse
  • Do you want it, Simon?
  • happily, I will be at the Colbert Rally to Keep Fear Alive this Halloween weekend.

....while some may see going as Simon LeBon as completely appropriate, I fear trekking this object on the Bolt Bus would be cumbersome and thus decline your generous offer.

....someone else gets to be Simon.
  • As long as you stop by the Rally to Restore Sanity while you're in DC, I'll still call you Simon if you want.
  • After careful consideration, I've decided fear is the way to go.

....But Simon was a hottie (as per my female friends, in 1985)

  • Terrifying.

I was looking for pictures of him now, but they're even scarier. It's very interesting how people age -- and some aging is even more interesting. Yeesh.

On the other hand, I love Elvis Costello -- and even if he doesn't look as fabulous as, say, David Bowie -- or Simon LeBon -- he sounds terrific.

    Colbert, though, is ageless.
