Hello All
Suzie - thanks for the good wishes (yes, my boss is a man!!). So nice to see you on here. Sorry to hear about your daughter's foot-next time tell her to order in, and then throw away the evidence - put everything on dishes and they'll be none the wiser. When it rains it pours, now your son's f-i-l too. Keep your chin up.
Weather's getting ugly - I'm sure the sky'll open up as soon as I put my big toe outside to go home! Oh well better home than in.
Just a quick type-by - busy as usual.

An observation from an OLD GOAT: When we moved to Sun City Center in 1997, one of the first things we learned was that in a Senior Cmmunity you are going to make friends and lose friends. If I wanted to get remorseful I just have to look across the street. There are 6 houses in our association over there. When we moved in all had married couples. Right now there are 5 widows and one vacant house (up for sale) where both people, husband & wife recently passed away. One of the homes has had TWO different couples where widows were created. The attitude here is that you enjoy life to the fullest while you can. All those widows have great memories of the fun and enjoyment they had while there husbands were alive as well as the great time most of them are having now with friends made here. At the present time my only surviving sibling, my Brother, has Hospice in attendence and is expected to pass any day. He had a great life both in Florida and Brooklyn & Long Island. If he could speak right now( he can not) he would tell you so. From what I could read, most of the people you are mentioning are from my generation. Yes, some are younger and that is sad. But most have had there day in the sun. It is time for them (and me, hopefully not too soon) to make way for the next generation which the majority of you fall into. Most memorial services today are called "A celebration of the life of..." Celebrate their life, enjoy your memories of them Do not dwell on the negative. [-o<

Hi Suzie , I understand how difficult a task it is with your Mom God bless you that you can do it. But this is why I am answering your post as far as being able to park at the doctors offices or hospitals your Mom is entitled to get a special parking permit from the city of New York and with this permit you can park where the Doctors park, NO Parking at any time, no quarters if you get a meter , NO standing except authorized vehicles, you cann park where their is alternate side parking you don't have to move your car & this permit is good for up to 20 people in your Family who ever drives your Mom around
