PPW bike lane and street cleaning
I assume that the alternate side rules apply to the cars parked next to the bike lane, but does anyone know how the street actually gets cleaned? Does the street sweeper clean the bike lane, pushing junk to the curb like it used to when the bike lane was a parking lane? Or does it actually clean the lane now used for park cars, essentially in the middle of the street?

I have seen the sweeper clean the bike lane during ASS parking time. The cars were mostly moved but I don't know if it cleaned where they were.

There is alt side there. I have not seen what happens, but the whole area getting cleaned sometime b/c so far there has been very little debris, even in the northbound curb-side lane. I would guess it's not that hard for the sweeper truck to make two passes if necessary to clean it all.

i wonder if the militant bicyclists scream at the guy in the sweeper that its a bicycle lane and no vehicles belong in there
