You have to enclose the YouTube URL in tags. In the post form, clicking the video button adds the tags for you. Also, you have to paste the URL (begins with http:), NOT the entire text you pasted above.

Almost, Anthony.
Take that link and put it between tags and it will display.
Note that to use the buttons below there has to be an OPENING tag and a CLOSING tag around the thing (text or video link or image link) you want to display.
Examples:
Bold
<strong>bolded wordsColor
<span style="color: red">red wordsSize
<span style="font-size: 13px">larger text_________________________________________________________________
Combinations
<strong><span style="color: green">bold green words<span style="font-size: 15px"><span style="color: purple">larger text_________________________________________________________________
Note again that all of the above have opening tags before and closing tags after the items being changed.
ANOTHER WAY TO DO ALL THIS:
1) Click the effects buttons you want
2) Type in whatever you want changed
3) Click the "close" button before posting it and it will automatically insert the closing tagsSo Anthony, you'd just
- click the "video" button
- paste in the http://.. video link
- then click the close button
- then click to postGive that a go and let me know if that explanation helps.
Best,
jeffrey

Almost, Anthony.
Here's a guide for the moment on how it currently works. We'll probably need to install another visual editor plugin (admiN = TinyMCE or whatever) and add the video tags paste-in functionality (add object and embed into list of accepted HTML tags) to get things back to how they were in the previous site.
Examples of how to do things in the meantime, clicking the buttons
before AND AFTER what you want to modify:Bold
<strong>bolded wordsColor
<span style="color: red">red wordsSize
<span style="font-size: 13px">larger text_________________________________________________________________
Combinations
<strong><span style="color: green">bold green words<span style="font-size: 15px"><span style="color: purple">larger text_________________________________________________________________
Note again that all of the above have opening tags before and closing tags after the items being changed.

Sorry Anthony, couldn't resist. I agree with you we should have the old way of doing videos, but unless you want to pay money to hire somebody to fix it... it's going to have to wait until I find time.
