Infiniti with no wheels

Sorry to tell whoever owns an Infiniti with CA plates parked on PPW near 8th Street that all 4 wheels have been stolen. It's hard to believe that nobody saw the thieves and reported it.

  • Definitely not the first time in that area.

That happened to two cars last July at right about the same location:

And here's a thread from March 2007 showing pics of a white Infiniti left up on milk crates (in PH on Park between Vanderbilt and Underhill):

    Ouch.
  • Slightly off topic, but in the background of one of those March 2007 photos you can see the front of the old house on Park between Vanderbilt and Underhill that was tragically demolished to make way for that monstrously ugly brick building with the wheelchair lift out front.
  • Saw that last night!

its DISGUSTING...whoever owns that car just had his nice weekend completely ruined.

I hope the people that took it do NOT have a nice weekend either.

    HELL
  • Those wheels are targets because of their transferrability to older Nissans and Infinitis... particularly Nissan Maximas and Infiniti I30s, which are both very popular cars in Brooklyn.

Messed up, but the reality of the situation. What can you do?
  • get wheel nut locks
  • Subject: Tires and Rims Stolen from all 4 wheels onPPW

Hello: This is the second case I have seen in the neighborhood. Some poor guy from California had all four wheels stolen. Car is sitting sadly on PPw and 8th St.
Maybe crime will be climbing as recession deepens.
  • It's still there. Happened Friday night/Saturday morning and seemed to be a source of great amusement to people headed to the park for some BBQ on Saturday. Damn, those guys must have been fast - there's always some traffic on PPW.

  • This morning I pass a new Accord on President between 8th and 7th will no wheels on the curb side. The car was actually being (not so) held up by a milk crate.
