Can anyone recommend someone to fix my heating problem? I've had no heat for 4 days now and I can't even get anyone to call me back. I tried Cool Air Charlie along with a few others and no response. Whenever I need something done in Brooklyn I feel like I'm living in some third world country.

    Do you own your home, or do you rent? If you rent, most service people will want permission from your landlord before they come.

    You need to give a little more detail about what the problem is so folks can help you with recommendations. Also, go look at the forums over at Brownstoner, you may be able to find someone who has had a similar problem.

    We have the same problem and a friend recommended Jimmy 718-344-4920. So far he seems to be great about getting back to us. Not sure yet about his work.
