HELP! Fax/Computer/Copy place?

edited November -1 in Prospect Heights
Hi All-
I'm in desperate need of a place to print something up and then fax it TONIGHT - ugh! I only have a laptop - nothing more - and I need to get something out in a timely fashion (i.e - now!) Anyone know of a place in the 'hood open late?

If not - any idea what time that copy place near the Q train is open in the morning? Or that place on Flatbush? I get no answer or message on the phone from either place..

Thanks!!!!!

  • only thing i can think of is ring neighbors bells and ask if they have a fax. other wise you are so screwed!!!
  • Can you fax directly from the laptop? Or is it something requiring a signature, hence the printing it out thing...?
  • need the signature.

    guess i'm screwed.
  • This is why I keep a top-secret, triple 128-bit encrypted sig on an SD card in a hermetically sealed mayo jar...

Oh well, I would have offered to fax from my PC, but if you need the sig, no can do...

In the area... hmmm... no, can't think of anything open this late on a Sunday.

    Yeah, yer screwed.

Last time I went there, their color printer wasn't working, their fax machine (circa 1992) wouldn't send more than one page at a time and not only was the staff was completely unapologetic, they seemed annoyed that we were there to exchange money for service. That place is a joke.

Yeah, you would think that they would be a great resource, but no...

On a related note, is it just me, or is good (unskilled) help hard to find in this city? It's sad that it's refreshing and note-worthy to come across a pleasant checkout person, etc. I usually feel like I'm interrupting a conversation when I'm trying to give someone money... :?
  • I haven't done it, but I bet you could send a fax from the mailboxes etc.-type place on Flatbush.
